I design to make things clearer, not louder.
Over time, I've learned that good work is not about adding more…
but choosing what stays.
Situation
I went through a significant personal shift that reshaped how I see structure, meaning, and communication. I needed a way to process and express these experiences through design — but only as reflection, never in the moment.
Insight
Storytelling becomes clearer when treated as testimony rather than reaction. Emotion doesn't need to be softened or hidden — it needs structure. Expression can carry weight without becoming noise.
Action
I began translating personal experiences into systematic visual narratives, using design as a structured language for reflection. I intentionally used bold, vibrant visual elements to reframe emotional depth into clarity and energy.
Result
A body of work that communicates personal experience through structured storytelling — balanced between emotional honesty and visual discipline. Expressive yet controlled.
Each project is a small decision-making process — balancing intention, constraint, and clarity.

I don't design to decorate.
I design to understand.
Over time, I've become more interested in clarity than complexity, and decisions over decoration.
I believe good design respects people's time — by being precise, intentional, and efficient.
Still learning. Still refining. Trying to build work that feels right, not just looks right.
Situation
During my studies in Visual Communication Design in Melbourne, I began reflecting on how my work and growth could be meaningfully shared beyond academic context.
Insight
Meaning becomes stronger when communicated through language and form that feels emotionally familiar. Design creates bridges between experience, memory, and the people we care about.
Action
I created a magazine compiling my projects from first year to final graduation year, using Bahasa Indonesia as the primary narrative language to make the work emotionally resonant for my family.
Result
A cohesive editorial publication — a personal bridge between design practice and family, balancing structured thinking with culturally grounded storytelling.
